The Tricorn Centre
The Tricorn Centre was peak British Brutalism... all that raw concrete, those dramatic angles, the unapologetic heaviness. Owen Luder and Rodney Gordon created something that people either loved or absolutely hated, which is usually a sign of interesting architecture. It was demolished in 2004, and honestly, I'm still mourning. Sometimes the ugly-beautiful things are the ones you miss most.
